Nice and clean inside, which is VERY important. Waitresses are friendly and check on you often. I like how fast I get my food while I watch them cook it and enjoy how good it is.

I just want to let you know this is by far the best coney. The food is good but I want to highlight the customer services and the way this coney island shows compassion. I ordered here for our site (35 people) and the everyone loved it. We normally come there for lunch but never ordered for the whole site. The whole experience was amazing. Not to mention, there is a homeless man that sits outside of the coney island. If you buy something for the guy (clothes, blankets, shoes, etc.), the coney will HOLD the items until the guy comes to get them. This man lives on the streets in an abandon home and has health issues. I got a chance to talk to him over the summer and buy him food/clothes. What I appreciate is that the owners of the coney island doesn't make him leave from in front like most businesses would do. Instead, they help him! I would recommend them to anyone and what they are doing community wise is what businesses should do. I am going shopping soon to get the man blankets. This is community.

I came during Thanksgiving parade. First time here, I love the food. Ordered pancakes for the kids and greek salad with grilled chicken. My daughter spilled the hot chocolate and the owner was so sweet to replace it and clean everything. Such a great people.

My Hungry Man Omelette was excellent. This is a diner so we’re looking for a quick, hearty meal that’ll fill you up. Woodward Coney more than delivered, and it’s a very nice (surprisingly huge) restaurant on the inside.I have no idea what others are saying about the customer service. I had exceptional service and the waitress I had was one of the highlights of my trip. Affordable, tasty, and affable, I’ll be back very soon

Have you ever had a reuben? “A Reuben is a grilled sandwich featuring corned beef on rye bread.”Well, this place does it right. Close to all the downtown Detroit sights, lies this Coney Island.Wanna experience local cuisine? Well here’s your chance.I know, I know. A Reuben isn’t a Detroit specialty, but it did not disappoint. Heavy on the meat, perfectly toasted bread, and sauerkraut to give it the edge pickles never will.Will definitely come back for the sandwich, and maybe something more.

The wait staff is wonderful and the cook( who I assumes owns it) actually checked on us. The atmosphere in the restaurant felt like I was eating at restaurant back home in Minnesota. The diner felt like an old school diner. I would highly recommend going here for breakfast or brunch.

In Detroit for a visit and felt like a diner breakfast so this is exactly what I was looking for. Our waitress Stephanie was helpful and funny. When I come back to Detroit I'll be sure to come back.
